QUANTYNE is the electronic project of Las Vegas-raised, Florida-based producer Michael Arnold. Working across dubstep, house and trance, he builds tracks from his own reshaped voice recordings — the method behind the 2026 debut album THE HUMAN EXPERIENCE and the melodic-house single Night driving. Released on The Whole Brain Corp.
Long bio
QUANTYNE (pronounced KWAN-tyne) is the electronic music project of Michael Arnold, who grew up in Las Vegas and now lives in Florida. The name joins quantum — the smallest unit of a thing — with tyne, an old word for a fork in a branch: a small, exact spark that opens a new path.
Arnold came up on hip-hop, recording street rap as a teenager in Las Vegas before years of experimental, unreleased work and self-taught piano. QUANTYNE began in mid-2025 with a run of dubstep, house, trance and techno singles, followed in March 2026 by the debut album THE HUMAN EXPERIENCE. The album was built largely from Arnold's own voice notes — hummed hooks and spoken lines, pitched, altered and sometimes transformed into a different voice entirely — with his beat structures built underneath. Several tracks are long and continuous by design, written to be mixed into and extended in later work.
The September 2026 single Night driving, a 129 BPM melodic house track originally written to a luxury-car campaign brief, followed. New material — fifteen to twenty songs in progress, including Gregorian chant recordings and a nine-song autobiographical concept record, The Human Signal Series — is in development. All releases are on The Whole Brain Corp.
